May is National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month along with Mason's birthday month. This time of year makes me think back to the days I was so swollen and waddling around the halls at school. Back to the times where I peed in between every single class and sometimes even more than that. Back to when I would go to bed at 7 o'clock (sometimes even 6) and wake up still so tired. Back to when I had no idea if I would make it to my high school graduation.
This is a life that I would never wish upon anyone else but a life I wouldn't trade for the world. If I didn't have Mason, I would have taken a different path with my life. But God threw a curve in my road and has brought me to a different place in life but a great one. God has blessed me with a healthy, handsome, and full of life little boy but I always pictured him blessing me with a child when I was married. You can't always control what life throws at you, but one thing you can control is your sex life. It only takes one time to get pregnant. Keep your childhood. Your late nights should be out hanging with friends instead of up until 2 a.m. with a crying baby. Kids shouldn't have to watch their parents grow up. Parents should be watching their kids grow up.
