Landscaping and Outdoor Improvements


One of the first things I did outside of my house was get rid of all of the weeds and put down rock.  It was something that was much needed and looks so much better.  I wanted to get plants planted in the rock this summer but I am waiting to get new gutters put in so it will have to wait for next spring. 



Next I had a large tree removed in my backyard and planted new grass.  After that was done I put a fence up with the help of my boyfriend and family.  I purchased all of the supplies at Menards and received an 11% off rebate so I got it all for a very good price.  I am loving the privacy from my new fence and so is Mason.


You all know how much I love my decor so I obviously had to add some outside.  Here are two signs I have.  The home sign I purchased but it would be very easy to make and the Welcome sign I made.  I took 3 leftover pickets from my boyfriends privacy fence and hinged them together.  I then purchased the letters at Hobby Lobby.  I painted the letters with one of my favorite colors and nailed the letters on.  


Last but not least I added some furniture to my cement pad in my backyard.  I purchased this adorable table and chairs at Sandhills Sage in Johnstown.  It is perfect for eating outside when the weather cooperates.  Next summer I plan to add more furniture and a fire pit.

That Thing Called "Co-Parenting"

Co-parenting.....oh the joys!   This has been a hot topic on my Facebook newsfeed lately.  I think anyone that has to co-parent doesn't enjoy it.  It can be very difficult and a huge struggle.  Some people are great at it and I envy those people.  Some people wish they could parent alone instead of having to co-parent and I have been right there with you.  Over the past almost five years my co-parenting style has definitely evolved.  Right now it is somewhat non-existent and that is just the way I like it. I have decided that Mason's father can choose how much involvement he wants in Mason's life but I am not going to go out of my way to force it on him.  The door is always open to call Mason whenever he wants and to come to Mason's activities.  Even though that door is open.....he rarely uses it.  I inform him of the things that I am legally required to notify him about and he will text me randomly every once in awhile to see how Maso...

Up&Up Advanced Whitening Wraps Review
