Burlap Wreath

I have always loved the look of burlap wreaths but I never wanted to spend the money to buy one.  Instead I decided to save money by making one.  It turned out to be very inexpensive.  I bought the wreath wire frame, plain burlap, and wooden fleur de lis at hobby lobby.  Everything was 50% of on sale except the wire frame which I used a 40% off coupon for.  If you have the retail me not app, Hobby Lobby always has a 40% of one regular priced item coupon.  I bought the chevron burlap at Walmart for around $5.  All together my supplies only cost me $12! A lot cheaper than buying a wreath!!  I looked up some videos on youtube on how to make a burlap wreath and from there I just went for it.  After I had the wreath done I painted the wooden fleur de lis with some paint that I already had from previous projects. I then hot glued some twine that my mom had to the back of the fleur de lis and I tied it to the wreath.  I then did the same with the bow.  I have attached all of the links you will need to complete a burlap wreath of your own!

Up&Up Advanced Whitening Wraps Review

I have never tried anything for whitening my teeth before because of how expensive it is.  The past few times I have went to target I noticed how much cheaper their up&up whitening wraps were.  I was curious how they worked so I decided to give them a shot.  I purchased them for $14.39 on sale.  They are normally $15.99 a box.  It is a 7 day treatment but they come with 10 upper and 10 lower strips.  I was very pleased with the results.  I have definitely noticed a difference in the whiteness of my teeth.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to whiten their teeth.  The picture down below is of my before and after results after 6 days of using the whitening wraps.  I have also included the link to the whitening wraps. http://www.target.com/p/up-up-7-day-advanced-whitening-wraps-14-count/-/A-15291394#prodSlot=_1_3

Become a Partner in Hope

Today is February 4th, which also happens to be World Cancer Day.  In honor of World Cancer Day, the radio station I listen to everyday at work had many cancer survivors, and parents of cancer patients tell their stories.  Every time a parent or a child told their story, I was almost in tears.  In every story they all said "I never thought it would happen to me."  It is so true, no one ever thinks it is going to happen to them.  I couldn't even begin to imagine if I was told that my son has cancer.  I don't want to even think about it.  After hearing all of these stories I decided I wanted to do something to help.  So I went on to stjude.org and became a partner in hope.  I signed up to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital monthly.  It comes straight out of your credit card or bank account.  You can choose the dollar amount to donate per month.  Any amount helps so much.  It is so easy to do and I hope others wi...

That Thing Called "Co-Parenting"

Co-parenting.....oh the joys!   This has been a hot topic on my Facebook newsfeed lately.  I think anyone that has to co-parent doesn't enjoy it.  It can be very difficult and a huge struggle.  Some people are great at it and I envy those people.  Some people wish they could parent alone instead of having to co-parent and I have been right there with you.  Over the past almost five years my co-parenting style has definitely evolved.  Right now it is somewhat non-existent and that is just the way I like it. I have decided that Mason's father can choose how much involvement he wants in Mason's life but I am not going to go out of my way to force it on him.  The door is always open to call Mason whenever he wants and to come to Mason's activities.  Even though that door is open.....he rarely uses it.  I inform him of the things that I am legally required to notify him about and he will text me randomly every once in awhile to see how Maso...
